If the Schwalbe S-One was available in 650B it would be worth a try for me, but it isn't - 700C only! Likewise for the WTB Horizon, which is getting excellent reviews for its ease of tubeless setup, but is only available as a 47-584 (650B x 47 mm). That's 5 mm wider than my existing tires and would never fit under my Honjo fenders (the Compass Babyshoe Pass is already a tight fit).
All the Compass tires that have been released in the last 1-2 years are tubeless ready, but the Babyshoe Pass came out before that. On the other hand, even the more recent TLR Switchback Hill differs mostly in its bead construction, with the sidewall more or less the same. The slow leaks on both my tires were not due to insufficient sealing at the bead but right through the sidewalls and that wasn't due to any obvious cuts. It's just a very light and it seems porous sidewall.
Several posts on a recent thread in the NFE group suggest that Compass tires are not a good match for tubeless after all. Given that I already own three pairs of them (2xBSP standard, 1xBSP EL), I will probably be running with tubes for the next few years, though I may switch back sooner if other 650B x 42mm tires hit the market that really work tubeless.
